off road parts question by the historian: Should I run everyday or take one or two days off per week?
I’ve been running( of course at a slow and relaxed pace) 1 hour almost everyday since two weeks ago for the purpose of losing weight. And then maybe in the future getting in good running shape to take part in road distance races.

Should I run everyday or take one or two days off each week?
I guess I read somewhere that you shouldn’t take two days off in a row because a bit of fitness is lost.

well you should be getting at least 90 minutes of physical activity everyday, so if you don’t do any other sports or anything run every day

I live in Illinois. ive always just wanted to drive to no where. take pictures (i wanna be a photographer) im thinking this summer im going to do it. i havent decided where or when yet, but im thinking about driving down route 66. illinois to california. now im not very good at guessing times. does anyone know how long it takes to drive from Near Chicago, to California and back. not stopping every night, just to sleep and get back on the road. i know for sure im gonna be taking at least a week off from work, but is a week gonna be long enough?? i just need some opinions.
i was just saying i know for sure im taking a week.. i know now to take AT LEAST 10 days. thank you all for all the help. im super excited. i just want summer to come now!

a week really isn’t long enough- 10 days would be more like it, especially if you want to take it a little easy at least…. it IS a vacation, right? If you do Route 66, don’t miss Oatman, Arizona- it’s the coolest little town- only a handful of people live there now. It was a mining town. When the town went bust, the miners left, but first they released their burros into the wild. The descendants of those mules, burros and donkeys are roaming all around the town now (of course, you can buy goodies to feed them which keeps them around now!) There are cool little restaurants and shops and it’s just a fun place to spend a few hours. It’s 20 minutes into the mountains across the Colorado River from Laughlin, NV where you can spend the night and partake of the gaming tables! have a fun and safe drive!

Friends back in Trinidad emailed me the video a couple weeks ago, and I wasn’t too happy to see it, but then all the hoopla followed – underage partyer, preacher daughter, Manning getting a word in – and then I’m driving here in Philly and they’re talking about it on the radio – had people calling in to give their comments. Nearly run off the road when I hear the man say Trinidad and ToBAHgo. Now on top of all of that they’re talking about it on VH1 Best week ever.
Just curious – what’s your take?

Honestly – I used to go to clubs when I was 14. So I can’t say she wrong for going. Granted I didn’t wear outfits like what that young lady wore.
But I saw the video – there was no way she had any control of the way Akon flung her around like that – plus there was no way he would know that he was dancing with a minor. It was a real unfortunate situation, but if she wasn’t so young we wouldn’t hear about it – you don’t think so?
Another thing – why do I get the feeling we’re almost proud of all this international attention we’re getting?

I recently purchase a 1998 jeep cherokee sports classic for 2,000.
I had the brakes replaced.
I put in a new muffler.
It runs like a champ.
What do i need to do to take it off road?
I know i need a lift or suspension kit.
I just don’t know where to even start. Can someone help me out and throw a site my way with a list of parts i should look at?
I don’t have to much money because i’m going to school, i’m 17. this car has to last me 2 years to drive to and home from school and work.
What should i change first? Go with a lift? Link? Brand?

A Jeep is a very capable vehicle even in stock form with a decent tire. Start off slow at a off-road park in your area with some “stock” vehicle or easy trails. Also have a friend or another friend with a vehicle go with you, don’t wheel alone in the event you get stuck or break down. If you feel this is something you like to do, then go and spend a little money on a lift and stuff to make it more capable. Check quadratec.com or 4wd.com for sites that are Jeep specific. I’ve bought stuff from both and they are easy to deal with, just expensive on shipping costs.
