off road videos question by : Should I be nice to the dude who leeches off everyone?
There is this bum of a dude who is 23 yrs old and still lives with his parents and has no job. He comes over to our house (all the time and uninvited) and leeches off our food. We also caught him a few times stealing food from our pantry. He goes into our roommates room- goes through all their stuff when everyone is gone. Once we caught the dude in our roommates room looking at porn and playing with himself when we came home from work early one day. he makes messes in the kitchen and never cleans up. he sleeps on our couch sometimes and utilizes all our resources that we pay for(internet, phone, etc). The dude even created his own xbox live account on our xbox and just sits there playing video games in our living room all the time. hes annoying and insults everyone even little 5 year old kids. He’s not polite at all… the dude could be courteous once in a while when people offer him food or take him out. Everyone that hangs out here is annoyed by him so they leave if hes here. He’s really no body’s friend. I think other people here just use him as the Designated Driver on the weekends. I feel sorry for the guy because hes a 23 year old man who is apparently trapped in jr. high. Should I take the high road and be nice to the guy or tell him to get a F”n job like everyone else and stop bumming off other people???

Off Road Pictures

off road pictures question by Luann: Should children be exposed to graphic images of abortion?
A “Right to Life” organization in our community, in my opinion, has gone too far. This evening as people were getting off work and going to dinner, they lined themselves up along the sides of the road in our “restaurant” district and in front of grocery stores, holding human-sized pictures of bloody, dismembered infants. People coming in and out of each establishment (with their children) were forced to look at these horribly grotesque images. We’re in a small town, and this road was THE main road through town… and you can’t get from one end of town to the other without driving it. People couldn’t avoid it.

As a parent, I feel this is taking “freedom of expression” too far. How would you even explain these graphic images to your child?

What do you think? Is this taking it too far? And as a parent, what would you do?

Off Road Wheels

off road wheels question by GG: Jeep Cherokee vs. Wrangler for off road… what should i do?
I’m going to buy a jeep here in the next few months for a daily driver and for offroading. My parents are going to help me out by paying for half of it but I’m looking to buy some where in the $ 5000 – $ $ 7000 range. I think both jeeps look really nice once you have a lift and wheels on them but the wrangler looks more aggressive and it’s more like the original jeep look. Which of the two would you choose? I know which ever one i get I’m going to give it the off road look but I’m really tight on money so I’m also looking at which one is cheaper to upgrade.

I would chose the one that has “limited slip differentials” in the front and the rear.

Otherwise, if equipped with open differentials, you are only driving one wheel in the front and one wheel in the rear. Most people NEVER take their “jeep” off road and in that case it doesn’t matter if its equipped with open differentials. If you’re going to put a lift on it just for looks and aren’t really interested in real off roading and only plan on dirt roads that an average car can go on, then stick with open differentials because you don’t need a real 4×4 at this point.

off road parts question by the historian: Should I run everyday or take one or two days off per week?
I’ve been running( of course at a slow and relaxed pace) 1 hour almost everyday since two weeks ago for the purpose of losing weight. And then maybe in the future getting in good running shape to take part in road distance races.

Should I run everyday or take one or two days off each week?
I guess I read somewhere that you shouldn’t take two days off in a row because a bit of fitness is lost.

well you should be getting at least 90 minutes of physical activity everyday, so if you don’t do any other sports or anything run every day
