off road question by crazyman: What are some Game Cube games that are free roam off road driving. I need something for my 5 year old son.?
He has car racing games but they have time limits or damage limits. I’m looking for something where he can drive off road and explore/roam around without a time limit and just have fun.

off road pictures question by janie: I need help to get some info to a relative who just had all his toes cut off and is going blind from diabetes?
he is currently in a veterans nursing home.

I have some dvd-r that are excellent on people and treatments that have improved or reversed diabetes that I would like to send to him.

However, being in a nursing home, he only has a regular tv, not a computer or dvd player.

He does have a cd player.

Is there any way to transfer the DVD=R content to the CD so he can play it. Even if opne cannot get the pictures, if I could get the sound only transferred to a cd or something that can be played on a cd player, he could hear it.

He does have a great deal of money and may be moving to a better nursing home or might be able to buy something to play it if they make any kind of portable plug in devices that play dvd-r that are not a computer or need connection to a DVD-R but I do not know if they make such a thing.

I could maybe tape the words with a tape recorder but not sure if he has a cassette player attached to his CD player and he is hard to reach, (Ican’t call out, I have no long distance and am poor and noone can get off the phone with him in less than 3-13 hours so I can’t afford a phone call) and also have noone there to help him until someone drives to his state maybe down the road.

any advice on how to get this info to him would be appreciated.

Download and install audacity (free). Then use it to capture the sound when you are playing the dvd on your computer. Once it is finished recording you can then save the audacity project as an mp3 ready to burn onto a cd.

off road parts question by Anna: i need help with a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee. cuts off going down the road & won’t crank for 10 min to 24 hrs.
this jeep is driving me nuts! we’ve replaced 4 or 5 parts, including all the ones the diagnostic computer says to, but still, when you least expect it, it will just cut off going down the road, or fail to crank when you are leaving the grocery store. none of the mechanics that have looked at it can pinpoint the problem. last night a relatively knowledgeable mechanic checked something, said it’s not related to fuel, but rather to fire between the ignition and the distributor. there is fire at the ignotion, but when it cuts off or fails to crank, it’s not getting fire to the distributor. he also said there is an aftermarket distributor package that would eliminate many of the current parts and this might would fix it. anyone agree or disagree, and what is this after market distributor bundle called, and where can i get it? thanks so much.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: my husband wrote this down for me and he’s asleep now, so i’ll relate the info as best i can. please ask for more info if you think you can help. initially, the check engine light was on which prevented passing inspection. the code said cam shaft sensor. we replaced that and the light went off. then the trouble started. since then we have replaced (in this order i think) coil, fuel filter, crankshart sensor, distributor(whole), plugs, plug wires, map sensor. i sure look forward to hearing back from anyone, especially the person who asked for more info. thanks so much!

I had this problem years ago with a Peugeot. Turned out to be the brushes in the starter motor. Cheaper than a new starter motor was to have the brushes replaced. No more trouble. Hope this helps.

there is one its a country music video where its a guy and hes singing the song and trying to build a brick wall in his basement to block his wife in and ends up blocking himself in instead…

the other is one where its a guy walking down a road and singing im pretty sure its country too its a couple years old and also it has a car in it i think his girlfriend or ex steals it or she runs off and he throws things at the car i cant remember any of the words for either i just need help finding them…
