off road fabtech question by : Lift kit for Jeep TJ ’03?
I have a Jeep Wrangler TJ 2003. I want to put about a 4″ lift kit on my jeep, and I’m not looking for crazy off road performance, it’s more for clearance. I’ve heard good things about fabtech and rubicon express.
Is it possible to get a kit that can still have a smooth ride? Thanks!

Hey, i have a 2000 Jeep Wrangler with the Rubicon Express 5.5″ Tri-Link Long Arm Suspension System with 35×12.5×15 Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ tires. This setup is awesome, rides very good.

I would give this suspension system a 4.9 out of 5. I highly recommend this lift. If you want a great ride and performance, give this kit a look.

off road fabtech question by william: i have a 2001 f-150 and i recently put a 7.5″ fabtech crossmember on and i frequently have coil problems?
the problem is that i get water on them and they end up needing maintenance.So i am looking at a mallory;off-road performance coil,but i have 8 coils!Would i need 8 of these or just one?
and when i say coil,i am talking about ignition coils

Doesnt really matter what brand ignition coils you put on, if they get wet they are going to have problems.
Ford Tritons the 4.6 and 5.4 have coil problems anyway.
I would undo whatever I did to get the coils wet- which is removal of that crossmember thingy.
BTW just what is a fabtech 7.5 crossmember??

Is this a good lift? I want to start off roading more and I dont want to get a lift that will break easily.
What else would I need to go with the lift?
What 4 inch lift would you reccomend that you think is good on and off road and how much is it?

Fab-tech is a great company for lift kits and will supply everything needed as well as detailed instructions

I am looking into their leveling kit for a GM truck, with the shocks, but I am unsure of these shocks. I know Bilstein, fabtech, Rancho, etc. just not these, and I can’t find pro’s and con’s for them. so are they good, are they of a high quality?
